时值19世纪末明治时期，包括嵯峨愁二郎（冈田准一 饰）在内的 292 位武士受到丰厚奖金吸引，深夜齐聚京都天龙寺，参加一场宛如人间炼狱的比赛：每人分得一块木札，唯有夺取他人木札并率先抵达东京，方能获得奖金。夜幕低垂，寺院内弥漫诡谲气息，嗜血武士蠢蠢欲动。随着比赛号令一响，武士立刻展开血腥而残酷的生存之战。

本剧改编自同名漫画，山口鸣海（绫濑遥 饰）是一名未婚未育、享受独居日常,生存,生计,日子的职业女性。然而，当她憧憬的事业型姑妈意外孤寂,寂寥,冷寂,寥寂,孤寂,寂寥,孤单去世后，鸣海陷入焦虑，起始,开端,肇始,启始尝试婚活，却屡屡受挫。更被年下同僚,工友,伙伴,搭档那须田优弥一句“以为成婚,完婚,婚配,嫁娶就能安心，这不还是昭和时代的想法吗？”狠狠戳中现实。意识到婚姻并非人生唯一的归宿，鸣海决心,打算,计划,准备转向“终活”，为了“好好死去”而奋斗,拼搏,奋进,进取“好好活着”，不断摸索前行，艰难地搜寻,寻觅,查找,探寻属于自己的生存方式。

       霓虹燈閃爍劃開黑夜，杯杯層次鮮明的精心特調端上桌，無數個漂浪靈魂在此相遇。知名酒保調得一手好酒，卻意外失去嗅覺，喪志到整天在酒吧酩酊大醉；呆瓜青年擁有一口好味覺，卻當起半吊子流氓上門討債，每天在街頭糊塗受罪。一場荒誕滑稽的追債衝突，一杯怪味雜陳的「絕品特調」，讓不打不相識的緣分就此展開。                                    

       導演樓一安繼《該死的阿修羅》、《台北歌手》後，再度攜手金馬影帝莫子儀，邀其參與編劇使角色立體活現，突破過往形象大展另類痞態，並搭檔《俗女養成記》宋偉恩犧牲色相、大秀妖豔舞姿，混搭調出喜劇新滋味。集結楊貴媚、李霈瑜、王渝萱、黃姵嘉、蔡淑臻、陳家逵眾星連番上陣各領敘事，一杯接一杯量身打造的創意調酒穿插交錯在每個人生故事，微醺甘韻，醉忘世間酸甜苦辣。

       本劇主要刻畫男性成長的過程，由王識賢(飾劉昆明)、李程彬(飾劉建中)、張詩盈(飾羅秀萍)領銜领衔,主役,担纲,主角，劇中環繞著濃厚的情感，親情、愛情、友情等元素，本劇設定在1989年的台灣，讓年長觀眾可以勾起回憶產生時代共鳴，也讓年輕觀眾對時代的變革感到好奇，細膩描寫劇中人物關係扣人心弦，劉建中是劉昆明和羅秀萍的兒子，李程彬表示:「能演這個角色感到很興奮，是一個從未來回到過去的劇本，為了詮釋這角色，把人物形象捏得更加鮮明，讓建中身上出現8+9的習慣，讓角色更接地氣，劇中有一句很好笑的口頭禪，請大家拭目以待。」

Chatfah, the youngest sister of the Bupphachinda family, has just received the largest share of her father's inheritance and is about to be married. However, Chatfah falls from the highest floor of a vacation home to her three older sisters' shocked eyes. When her body disappears, her three sisters—Baibua, Chomphu, and Picha—become suspects in her disappearance.

Robert Thorogood adapts his own novels alongside Lucia Haynes (“Vera”) and Julia Gilbert (“Midsomer Murders”), each of whom will write a two-episode murder mystery. Thorogood’s episodes will be an adaptation of his second novel, “Death Comes to Marlow” while Haynes and Gilbert are set to pen brand new stories.
